The Project

We were approached by a client with a request to quote for cleaning several areas on their property. The initial enquiry included cleaning three sets of exterior steps (including anti-slip strip replacement), as well as the cleaning of both garage and car port roofs.

After reviewing the quote, the client decided to proceed with the car port roof cleaning only. Our team was swiftly scheduled to carry out the work.

Our Recommendation

Upon arrival, it became clear that the scale of the job was significantly larger than anticipated. The surface area of the car port roofs, as well as the level of grime and organic buildup, required far more time and resources than initially expected. Despite this, our operatives remained committed to delivering a high standard of service, staying on-site until 10pm to ensure the work was completed to our usual exacting standards.

As the photos from the project clearly show, the transformation was remarkable. While the job proved more demanding than planned, the end result speaks for itself, leaving the client with clean, presentable roofs and a refreshed exterior.

The Result

And then we took a loss on a job…

The only reason this one got over the line was the strength of the client relationship. We quoted too low, and the team knew immediately on arrival that it wasn’t going to be straightforward.

What looked like a simple 5–6 hour job turned into a two-day slog. Pine needles caked on the roof, years of organic staining, it wasn’t a case of just pressure washing it off. Getting it to a standard we’re happy with took serious effort.

Even the photos show what finishing at 10pm looks like, with darkness setting in.

A painful one, but hopefully it carries weight with the rest of her estates. 🙏🏻
